COACHING POSITIONS

OYL is always looking for enthusiastic coaches to help with the development and coaching of our players. OYL is willing to pay a competitive rate to those coaches that have the skills and desire to help make a difference in our kids development. Please email the boys or girls director if you are interested in coaching.

Coach Application Process

To be considered for a coaches position, fill out the Coaches Application Form.

Steps to complete upon hiring

  1. Obtain an active USA Lacrosse Membership
    • Membership will be reimbursed to paid coaches ($35 ages 15-18 & $50 ages 19 & above)
    • Complete a background check through USA Lacrosse
    • Submit reimbursement request to treasurer@oronolax.org
  2. Fill out the following Agreement
  3. Review and sign the Code of Conduct
  4. Obtain USA Lacrosse Level 1 Certificate
    • Submit Certificate to OYL 
      • boys_director@oronolax.org
      • girls_director@oronolax.org
  5. Complete the Heads Up Concussion Training Course or equivalent
    • Submit Certificate to OYL 
      • boys_director@oronolax.org
      • girls_director@oronolax.org
  6. Electronically fill out a W9 (Save and then open with Adobe Reader. You do not need to sign.)
    • Email completed W9 to treasurer@oronolax.org

***All coaches are encouraged to complete the following:

  1. USA Lacrosse Certification by completing the USL Instructional Clinic 
  2. PCA "Double Goal Coach" online course on USL for both boys and girls. Additionally
  3. Boys coaches also need to complete the Proper Contact online course on USL.
